Clear Gel

As someone with ****-prone skin, trying anything new can be stressful—you’re always wondering if it’s going to cause a breakout. That’s why I didn’t take a chance on the regular gel that came with my Halo. Instead, I bought this one separately.

I use about 4–5 pumps per treatment, which means I went through it pretty quickly—so keep in mind, it’s not the most cost-effective if you’re doing multiple sessions. That said, it smells fresh (kind of like mint and cucumber), feels cooling on the skin, and overall it’s really pleasant to use.

I’ve been seeing great results using the Halo Problem Solver routine, and I do think this gel has played a part in that. It helps the treatment go smoothly and doesn’t irritate my skin at all.

I just wish there was an option to choose your preferred gel when buying the device like other gels, especially since this one is pricy. Now I have the original gel sitting unused because I don’t want to risk a reaction.
